Family Medical Leave (FMLA)
FMLA allows eligible employees to take up to 12 weeks of unpaid job protected Family and Medical Leave in accordance with federal law and any applicable state laws. Before making arrangements and to determine if you qualify for this benefit, please speak with Human Resources.Personal Leave
For employees who are not eligible for FMLA but request medical and/or personal leaves, UA Brands may provide unpaid personal leave to eligible employees who wish to apply to take time off from work duties to fulfill personal obligations or medical conditions not eligible for FMLA. UA Brands offers bereavement time to employees to make funeral arrangements, attend the funeral and burial, and any other ancillary matters employees must address when a loved one dies. UA Brands provides up to 24 hours (three 8-hour days) for the death of an immediate family member. Immediate family includes: spouse, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, siblings, and in-laws.Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
