ABOUT THE ROLE
UA Brands is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team as a Grassroots Brand Marketing Specialist to bring our brand to life. The Grassroots Brand Marketing Specialist will be on the frontlines of our marketing efforts expanding the company’s reach by driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
 

You will play a critical role in planning, organizing, and executing events—both in-person and virtual—that elevate our brand, nurture our partnerships, and engage prospective and existing customers of UA/Uniform Advantage Brands.

From executing exciting grassroots marketing strategies to coordinating impactful product launches, your contributions will shape the future of UA/Uniform Advantage Brands and make a lasting impression in the marketplace. WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Design and execute experiential activations that captivate audiences, foster connections, and tell the compelling story of UA/Uniform Advantage Brands.
  • Execute and drive cutting edge grassroots marketing strategy and day-to-day calendar.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends shaping innovative marketing strategies that resonate with healthcare and culinary professionals.
  • Collaborate with retail teams to launch impactful marketing campaigns that align with community events, product launches, and B2B initiatives, enhancing customer engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Work closely with email marketing and social media teams to strategically promote events and engage the broader UA Brands community.
  • Ensure flawless event execution from planning through wrap-up, adhering to budget and timeline constraints while maintaining high standards to achieve objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and timely delivery of all creative assets and supporting information for events and promotions.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns/events, gathering insights and customer feedback to refine strategies and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with vendor partners and the creative team to produce unique swag, signage, and brand activations that resonate with our audience, ensuring timely delivery of all materials.
  • Be a proactive contributor to our marketing team, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives that elevate our brand presence in the marketplace.
  • Extensive travel and time spent in our stores, customer locations, and B2B tradeshow events (up to 50%) and will work flexible hours based on project needs.
 WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing strong project management skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and grassroots marketing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships with diverse teams and community members.
  • Passion for customer engagement and product knowledge, with an understanding of regional market dynamics.
  • Innovative and adaptable mindset, always looking for creative solutions to grow our presence.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and brand strategy, with the ability to align event goals with brand objectives.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects with precision and strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Google Sheets, JIRA) with exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Collaborative team player with a flexible mindset and willingness to tackle tasks of any size.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in marketing, public relations, or community relations.
WHERE YOU’LL WORK
HYBRID – The Best of Both Worlds

Have the flexibility to work on-site/in the business and remotely during the week. You’ll spend time executing marketing events, attending trade shows, and supporting B2B sales efforts which require travel across the US.  While not traveling, you will spend time in our Corporate office for collaboration/in-person engagement and have the flexibility to occasionally work from home. While on-site, join other team members in the spacious Quad for lunch, and enjoy our ongoing wellness activities. Employees are expected to be online and available during the core business hours for their team. Company computer provided for business use.
