ABOUT THE ROLE
UA (Uniform Advantage) Brands is looking for a proactive Site Merchandising Assistant to join our growing team. The Merchandise Assistant will play an integral role in assisting both the Buyer with administrative responsibilities including, vendor and database creation and maintenance, order creation and maintenance, and store requests for products. The position will work closely with our Retail Stores, Distribution Center, and Vendors.
This position requires one to work in the permanent shift between 6:00 PM and 3:00 AM IST, Monday through Friday.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Sales review for product selection for graphical navigation on website and update bi weekly along with style pins and feature colors for livings, promotions and department landing page.
- Maintenance of all categories and navigation on websites. This includes product titles and copy for new styles to ensure upholds SOP standards with accurate information plus ensure attribute accuracy and living of badges and disclaimers.
- Obtain brand guidelines, collection copy, logos and icons for new collection launches. Update brand navigation to add/ drop sub collections as warranted.
- Maintain and proof limited time sales and permanent sales. Ensure disclaimers are added to or removed from web pages, limited time sale and specialty depts are activated or removed, pages are merchandised with sale brands, featured items are move up for the duration of the sale, all website links are working properly.
- Update and maintain promotional and closeout departments: Last chance, Great Deals and Made too Much to ensure appropriate products are showcased and to remove any products that no longer fit the criteria.
- Create seasonal trend departments and fashion colors, remove outdated one.
- Execute agreed site changes and updates on e-commerce platform.
- Category Management - using internal tools analyze sales performance and KPI to make site changes for improved performance and to coordinate with marketing campaign.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Rapid typing proficiency (at least 40 WPM)
- Excellent Verbal, writing & grammar skills.
- Use of Outlook & Excel spreadsheet
- Excellent proofing skills and detailed oriented.
- Product knowledge, terminology, fabrication features and benefits.
- Ability to learn new programs Workfront, AX, Excel reporting.
- Ability to train and communicate with team members.
- Category Management- tracking sales and using analytics for decision recommendation.
- Familiarity and comfort in working with e-commerce platforms e.g. SFCC, Shopify or Magento.
- Experience with digitally-forward brands
- E-commerce platform maintenance (e.g. SFCC, Shopify, Magento).
- Computer/Internet Literacy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, etc
- Proofing tasks that require accuracy and attention to detail
